Susumu Nozawa, RAC (US and EU), FRAPS is Head of Regulatory Policy for North America at Siemens Healthineers in Malvern, PA. He is responsible for proactively monitoring relevant Technical Regulations and Standards to sense critical regulatory policy changes and opportunities, communicate and coordinate all stakeholders to realize favorable regulatory/business environment for Siemens Healthineers, Industry, and the patients Siemens Healthineers serves. Susumu has more than 30 years’ experience in the medical device industry and held various positions in R&D, Regulatory Affairs and Compliance, Quality Assurance, and Standards Management for global operation. He currently serves as a Co-chair of Standards Committees at AdvaMed Imaging, and actively participate in working groups and technical committees at various standards developing organizations and trade associations.
